Day party in Vienna: what, when, where
An AWSM day party starts before 17:00. This guide explains the start times, the venues and how to plan your visit using AWSM's own documented events.

What is a day party?
At AWSM, a day party is any event that starts before 17:00 – when it ends does not matter. The same rule applies across the whole website.
Most AWSM day parties so far ran from 16:00 to 22:00 (12 of 15). The music is house – at the day parties so far mostly Afro House and Melodic House.
Outdoors or indoors depends on the venue: the Vineyard Editions on the Nussberg are open-air events – the party is outside in the vineyard, and indoors when it rains. At the Reisenberg the party is indoors and outdoors, at the Skyline Editions at Oktogon am Himmel indoors and on the terrace.
At the Vineyard Editions on the Nussberg, the wine and food come from Buschenschank Feuerwehr Wagner.
An event that starts at 17:00 or later is an evening or night event – so far, for example, AWSM. GOES KAISER WIESN (17:00–22:00), AWSM. KIRTAG SPECIAL (23:00–06:00) and AWSM. NYE SKYLINE EDITION (20:00–04:00).
When are day parties held?
So far, 13 of the 15 AWSM day parties took place between April and October; 13 of the 15 were on a Saturday.
No AWSM day party is on sale at the moment. An AWSM day party in Vienna is planned before summer 2027; the date appears as soon as ticket sales start.
Day parties and open-air events in the vineyard are planned again for 2027.

Where does AWSM hold day parties?
- Buschenschank Feuerwehr Wagner am Nussberg – on the Nussberg, Vienna-Döbling – 8 day parties, open air in the vineyard
- Oktogon am Himmel – Vienna-Döbling, above Grinzing – 3 day parties, indoors and on the terrace
- Weingut am Reisenberg – Vienna-Döbling – 2 day parties, indoors and outdoors
- Eischer’s Kronstüberl – Neustift am Walde, Vienna-Döbling – 1 day party, outdoors
- EAGLE Kreischberg – St. Georgen am Kreischberg, Styria – 1 day party
By public transport: the U4 to Heiligenstadt, then bus 38A and the last stretch on foot – to the Nussberg from “Kahlenberg” (about 15 minutes downhill), to Oktogon am Himmel from “Cobenzl Parkplatz” (along Höhenstraße) and to the Reisenberg from “Oberer Reisenbergweg” (about 5 minutes uphill). By car to the Nussberg: driving and parking in Eisernenhandgasse are not allowed.

Good to know before a day party
- Admission from age 19, ID required.
- Tickets are sold only via Tickethead, on each event page. Whether there is a box office depends on the event – there is none when an event is sold out.
- Several AWSM day parties were sold out, among them the first three Vineyard Editions in 2025 – if you want to be sure of a place, buy in advance.
- Dress code: classy / smart. If an event has its own dress code, it is on its event page.
- Photos and videos are taken at the events; if you do not want to be filmed or photographed, tell the staff on site.
FAQ
How long does an AWSM day party last?
Mostly from 16:00 to 22:00 – that was the case at 12 of the 15 AWSM day parties so far. So far they started between 11:00 and 16:00 and ended by 23:00 at the latest.
Is every AWSM day party an open-air event?
No. The Vineyard Editions on the Nussberg are open-air events – the party is outside in the vineyard, and indoors when it rains. At the Reisenberg the party is indoors and outdoors, at the Skyline Editions at Oktogon am Himmel indoors and on the terrace.
What is the difference between a day party and an evening event at AWSM?
The start: an AWSM day party starts before 17:00, an evening or night event at 17:00 or later – for example AWSM. GOES KAISER WIESN on 27 September 2026, from 17:00 to 22:00.
