The night step by step
- In advance: buy your ticket online via Tickethead – there is usually no box office on New Year's Eve. If you would like a table, email office@awsmevent.com; tables can be booked in addition to the ticket.
- Getting there: by U4 and bus 38A – the directions are below; parking is limited.
- From 20:00: doors open. There is no fixed last entry, so you can also arrive later.
- During the night: your ticket covers entry; drinks are at the bar, where you can pay by card. There is a cloakroom on New Year's Eve.
- At midnight: the view of the fireworks over Vienna.
- Until 04:00: that is when the party ends.
- Getting home: by taxi or a ride service (e.g. Uber) – bus 38A does not run at night. Plan your way home in advance.
Getting to Oktogon am Himmel
U4 to Heiligenstadt, bus 38A to “Cobenzl Parkplatz”, then walk along Höhenstraße towards Sievering to the corner of Himmelstraße/Höhenstraße (entrance). By car via Grinzing; parking is limited.
