About the event

On Friday, 15 August 2025, AWSM held its first Skyline Edition at Oktogon am Himmel – the glass-framed restaurant in the hills of Vienna's 19th district above Grinzing, with a panoramic view over Vienna. Until then, every AWSM event had taken place in the vineyard on the Nussberg; this was the first at another venue – and the first on a Friday.

The date fell on a public holiday in Austria: Assumption Day. The party ran from 16:00 to 22:00. Five days after the event, on 20 August 2025, AWSM added the photos to its gallery under the heading “SKYLINE EDITION 15.08.2025”.

The venue

Oktogon am Himmel is an octagonal, glass-framed venue in the hills of Vienna's 19th district above Grinzing, with a 360° view over the whole city.

This event was the first of the 4 AWSM events with a photo album at this venue so far.

The series

The Skyline Editions are AWSM parties at Oktogon am Himmel in Vienna's 19th district with a view over the whole city – so far in August 2025, May 2026 and August 2026. 3 editions have been documented with photos so far.

All editions: 15 Aug 2025 · 2 May 2026 · 8 Aug 2026

In the AWSM chronology

This was the 4th of the 19 AWSM events documented with a photo album since May 2025.

The event before it was AWSM. VINEYARD EDITION on 19 July 2025 at Buschenschank Feuerwehr Wagner am Nussberg; the event after it was AWSM. VINEYARD EDITION on 13 September 2025 at the Reisenberg.
